For more than three years, he served as resident adviser to the Vascular Surgery Interest Group at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York.
A multi-published author, Dr. Beckerman has contributed to articles in several peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Vascular Surgery, Annals of Vascular Surgery and the Journal of Endovascular Therapy, as well as to books on vascular surgery, interventional
cardiology and endovascular interventions. He has presented nationally and internationally at more than 50 symposia, industry meetings and conferences.
Dr. Beckerman specializes in complex endovascular aortic aneurysm repair, open and endovascular carotid surgery, open and endovascular peripheral arterial disease treatment/limb preservation, renal and mesenteric revascularization, complex venous reconstructions, transradial arterial interventions, dialysis access creation and maintenance, and minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins and venous insufficiency.
